How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your Volecom account by requiring a second form of verification in addition to your password.

🔐 We highly recommend enabling 2FA to better protect your account from unauthorized access.

Step-by-step Instructions​

Step 1: Go to Security Settings​

Step 2: Enable 2FA​

  • In the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) section, click the Enable button.

Step 3: Scan the QR Code​

  • Open your authentication app (e.g. Google Authenticator, Authy, Microsoft Authenticator).
  • Use the app to scan the QR code shown on the screen.
  • Alternatively, you can manually enter the key provided.

Step 4: Enter Verification Code​

  • After scanning, your app will display a 6-digit code.
  • Enter that code into the input field on the page.
  • Click Verify to complete the setup.

Enable 2FA

Note
Once verified, 2FA will be enabled on your account. From now on, each time you log in, you will be required to enter a code from your authenticator app in addition to your password.
